Combat mechanic
Disorder
The reaction caused when a different eligible Attribute Anomaly replaces one already active on an enemy.
← All systemsDefinition
How it works.
- Inflict an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy.
- Inflict a different eligible Attribute Anomaly while the first is active.
- The first anomaly is replaced and Disorder deals additional damage and accumulates Daze.
Why it matters
What it changes.
Disorder rewards teams that coordinate more than one Attribute, but its damage depends on the anomaly being removed and how much of its effect remained.
- Removed anomaly
- The outgoing anomaly determines the base Disorder behavior.
- Time remaining
- Standard damage-over-time anomalies generally produce more Disorder damage when replaced earlier. Extended-duration and special anomalies need separate testing.
Common confusion
Not every anomaly interaction is Disorder
Wind uses Vortex when Windswept is involved. Polarity Disorder is a separate special mechanic and does not remove the active anomaly.
